Most common style of residential fencing?

Most of our customers tend to choose Closeboard Panels or Lap Panels (traditional).

Most durable fencing?

No contest, we recommend having Feather-Edge Fencing (also called Closeboard) on concrete posts and concrete gravel boards, as they are the most durable and sustainable type of residential timber fencing.

Repair or Replace?

General rule of thumb is when more than a quarter of the boards have rotted, you're better off replacing, rather than repairing (cost sensible for large repairs, as sometimes the labour involved sometimes takes just as long to do a repair). However, with smaller repairs, repairing posts / feathers will provide you with strong, durable fencing again.

Can I keep my panels and just replace my posts?

If your fence panels are still in good shape, we’ll never suggest replacing anything you don’t need. We’re always happy to simply take care of the parts that require attention.

And if your posts are strong and secure, we can easily replace just the panels for you — no fuss, no unnecessary costs.
